Are You Accountable To Your Company’s Success Or Letting It Take Care Itself

The first thing to consider is that really nothing takes care of itself. No matter how much we wish it would! It does not really matter how successful your business is, life tends to throw all of us curve balls (take the current economy as a dramatic example.) For many of us, financial freedom is a far away dream. It does not need to be that way.

Who do you hold accountable in your life? Is it the newspaper delivery person, your accountant? Family members for keeping their word… How long has it been since you sat down and reviewed your company structure? Is it still providing everything you need? Or is there room for improvement? Who is caretaking your assets for you? Are they creating a solid asset protecting strategy?

So many questions, so little time! Most of us are happy with the status quo. We think were are not, but it is not human nature to constantly be retooling things that work. Especially our businesses. We like that they work, we like that they provide income, some of us even enjoy that we are creating work for others so that they too can provide for their families.

Now, more than ever, we need to work smart not hard … the economy is providing challenges to all of us, no matter what our profit margins are or employee base. Planning for our retirement is not so easy, some of us have not even been able to begin building life long wealth.
